Andre Grondin - Atlas Geological Consulting

Andre Grondin

Andre Grondin began his geoscientific career in gold exploration in Canada's Yukon territory. He has worked in various exploration based roles with private and publicly traded mining and exploration companies across Canada. Andre has been involved in projects targeting gold, silver, copper, zinc, iron ore, diamonds, lithium, titanium and PGEs to name a few. Andre has been a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada where he sat as a committee member for the Innovations Forum. Andre has been active in North American mineral development having staked claims and sold mineral leases in Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador and Nunavut. Andre was a founding member of a Canadian critical minerals company which was listed in the TSX Venture exchange in 2024. Andre has a thorough understanding of, and experience with, North American capital markets and will be able to get your project to the next level. Andre studied Economics and Geology at Saint Mary's University.

Carole Gilbert - Atlas Geological Consulting

Carole Gilbert

As a professional geologist and a lawyer, Carole understands well the complexities of geological data collection as well as the legal aspects of property tenure and international operations. She brings extensive legal, governance, compliance, M&A, capital markets, financing and mining and engineering consulting industry expertise. She has overseen a broad spectrum of legal matters for junior, mid-cap and major mining companies both in private practice with a large international law firm and in-house, from resource evaluation, permitting to mine development. As a geologist, Carole designed and implemented mineral exploration programs including drilling, mapping, geophysical and geochemical analysis. She has on-the-ground experience in West Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe and South America. She is Co-Director of the Osgoode Hall Law School Certificate in Mining Law Program, sits on the Mining Advisory Committee of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers in Quebec, the Ethics Committee of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec, has served as a corporate director for a publicly-listed company and as a law clerk to the Quebec securities tribunal and has co-authored several legal and geology thought leadership publications. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Geology) from McGill University and is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, the Barreau du Quebec and the Ordre des geologues du Quebec.

James Barlow - Atlas Geological Consulting

James Barlow, P.Eng.

James R. Barlow is a licensed professional engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Digital Signal Processing. He joined Purple Rock Inc. in 2012, bringing six years of experience in developing electronic devices and software algorithms for data digitization and processing. James provides technology leadership in information technology, machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives. His contributions include advancing geoscience exploration through semantic search and applying machine learning techniques to verify digitized geochemical data. Additionally, he provides consulting expertise in optical character recognition (OCR) and PDF technologies. James is also an active contributor to the open-source community. He maintains several widely recognized software projects, including OCRmyPDF and pikepdf, which are regarded as leading tools in their respective domains. His dedication to innovation and technology began early, with self-directed learning in computer programming, and continues to drive his impact in the field today.

Nicole Barlow - Atlas Geological Consulting

Nicole Barlow, P.Geo.

Nicole Barlow, with a BSc in Earth Science and Geography, is the Founder and CEO of Purple Rock Inc. She has nearly 20 years of leadership experience in geology, working with government agencies (such as provincial and territorial geological surveys in Canada), research groups, and the mineral resource industry. Nicole specializes in turning historical geological data into digital resources, supporting governments in attracting investment to their jurisdiction and supporting industry in capitalizing on historical work. Her expertise includes giving new life to old geoscience data. Known for her collaborative approach, she ensures smooth teamwork among clients, contractors, and stakeholders, making Purple Rock a trusted name in geoscience solutions. Nicole is a registered professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
